The Rochester Footbag Association (RFA) was founding in 2001 by Matt Cross. Matt Cross has been, and continues to be, an invaluable member of the footbag community. Many world renouned players owe their introduction to the sport of footbag to him. Even today the RFA continues to grow and spread the sport of footbag throughout Rochester, New York and its surrounding areas.

Mike Anello began his footbag career in December of 2000 when he met Matt Cross, the founder of the RFA.

Considered to be the top ranked playing in the RFA, Chris Dean is not only a great guy to kick with but a great contributor to the sport of footbag. Whether he is coordinating events or spreading footbag awareness through public sessions throughout Western New York, Chris Dean continues to be a positive and powerful driving force in the sport of footbag.
